The Founding Fathers of this nation had the foresight, understanding, and intimate knowledge of the importance of the people’s right to keep and bear arms. They experienced the tyranny and authoritarianism of the British Monarchy first hand. The citizens of the thirteen colonies endure high taxes, a strong military presence at home, and no way to address their grievances. The Founders of this great nation understood the necessity of the people’s right to defend themselves against the tyranny of men and governments. Without this equivalence between the govern and government, corruption would surely reign supreme. That corruption would lead to the oppression of free men and women. This, sentencing the people to the shackles of tyranny by the government.

The second amendment was designed to be a balance of power between its people and the government. To let the politicians who hold seats of power know if you infringe upon the free will of men and women in this nation, the people have ability to oppose you. That’s the beauty of the second amendment, it applies a system of checks and balances between the people and their government.

If the government chooses the path of corruption and tyranny the people have the ability to defend themselves against that tyranny. Without this balance of power between the people and their governments only oppression and hardship would remain. This oppression and tyranny would lead to the rise of authoritarianism and subjugation of the people by deceptive means or by violent force. History has taught us the lessons on what happens when people cannot protect themselves from the government. Pain, suffering, death and destruction will surely follow.

The Founding Fathers of this nation witnessed these cruelties and injustices first hand. Being a survivor of these injustices and inhumanities they endeavored to make sure that it will never happen in the nation they were creating. This was so important they amended it to the U.S. Constitution as apart of the Bill of Rights. The intrinsic value of that mindset should speak volumes of its monumental value.

The right to keep and bear arms is essential to maintaining the balance of power between the people and the government. While also allowing us the ability to protect our families, neighborhoods, and communities against the evil men and women of this world.

Now, the government seeks to strip us of your rights to keep and bear arms through the guise of safety. When tyranny appears as benevolence and hope it is neither benevolence or hope. It is tyranny in the facade of authoritarianism and subjugation. It is attempt by our politicians to void the contract between the people and the government that stands in the Constitution. In a coordinated attempt to tip the scales of power to those who are in power. Our second amendment rights are critical to the balance of power in this nation. It is the right that stands in defense of our Constitution and its amendments. That’s why our Founding Fathers expressed the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.
