On Friday, at the NRA Annual Meeting Taurus officially unveiled the new Taurus G3 Tactical pistol. The new G3 Tactical is the company’s first custom variant straight from the factory. The new G3 Tactical will feature: front and rear slide serrations, suppressor height sights, a threaded barrel, and optics ready with the T.O.R.O. mounting system. The Taurus G3 Tactical will also be rocking a multi-tone FDE finish like the FN SCAR.

The new G3 Tactical is a full-sized polymer framed striker fire pistol offering from Taurus. Taurus is looking to add key modern features from the factory that shooters are looking for. One of those key features is making the G3 Tactical optics ready. The G3 Tactical features the T.O.R.O. (Taurus Optics Ready Option) equipped slide which allows for the mounting of various pistol red dots. This T.O.R.O. slide is paired with backup suppressor height sights. Which gives the user backup iron sights that they can be used if the red dot goes down or are perfect sights to use when attaching a suppressor.

Taurus is seeking to give the end users a highly versatile, modular, and customizable platform to allow the user to create a pistol that fits their needs. If that need be for self defense, home defense, recreational, or competition the G3 Tactical can adapt to all your needs.

The G3 Tactical is a versatile striker fired pistol in a competitive market. It comes with key features as being optics ready, suppressor ready, with suppressor height iron sights. The G3 Tactical comes packaged in well built soft pistol case with either two 17-round or 10-round magazines depending on state of ownership.

The Taurus G3 Tactical is a full-size polymer striker-fired pistol that visually sets itself apart from the standard Taurus G3 with its receiver in Magpul FDE and slide complemented with an element-resistant Patriot Brown Cerakote finish. Offered in either 17- or 10-round magazine configurations, the Taurus G3 Tactical delivers the same ergonomic performance and reliable operation that has made the Taurus G3 handgun a leader in the personal defense handgun category.
