Laugo Arms is known for designing the Scorpion SMG and then selling it to CZ. Back in 2018, the company made a splash with the Alien pistol on the European market. The Alien pistol is an amalgamation of different design ideas put into one pistol. The Alien features a gas piston delayed blowback system, and a non-reciprocating modular top rail cover, with a fixed barrel. At Shot Show 2020, Laugo Arms announced that they were working on bringing the Alien to the U.S., Lancer Systems has been the strategic partner with Laugo’s. Lance handled the importation, sale, and service of the Alien pistol. Now, that relationship is about to drastically change. Lancer Systems issued a press release detailing that Laugo Arms is set to officially open its own U.S. operations, and take over Alien support from Lancer in the U.S. market.
Below, is the press release from Lancer Systems on Laugo Arms’ entrance into the U.S. market and their end of support for the Alien pistol.
