Hard Head Veterans (HHV), a veteran-owned and operated manufacturing company based in the Lone Star State, is proud to announce the launch of the HHV ATE Gen 3 Ballistic Helmet. These updates are designed and made in-house by HHV’s research and development team, which includes employees with military and law enforcement experience to ensure thoughtful and well-designed helmets for the end user. The new ATE Gen 3 incorporates customer feedback from what missing on the previous generation such as, a dial-adjustable chin strap, an improved helmet profile, and new night vision-compatible shrouds.

With an average backface deformation number of 13.125 mm, the HHV ATE® Gen 3 offers unparalleled safety without compromising comfort or mobility. Designed with input from military, law enforcement, and first responder communities, this helmet provides superior protection at an affordable price point while maintaining American manufacturing, making it accessible to those who serve and protect our nation.
The HHV ATE® Gen 3 ballistic helmet is proudly made in Sweetwater, Texas, with ballistic fibers from Dupont® (USA). Tested to NIJ Level IIIA, it stops a wide range of handgun threats, including 9mm, .357 SIG, and .44 Magnum rounds. Its aramid design reduces backface deformation and blunt impacts. It features our Impact Padding System for a 100% customized fit along with our Fidlock Suspension System with a tightening ratchet. The HHV ATE® Gen 3 offers the perfect blend of lightweight design, superior protection, and exceptional comfort.
