Recently, B&T announced the debut of their new lineup of 3D printed suppressors. These new suppressors are part of the Print-X family, which includes B&T’s Rotex and SRBS (Slimline Reduced Backpressure System) models. The Print-X lineup by B&T is manufactured using an innovative laser bed fusion technique. These new suppressors are of a weldless design and made from either 718 Inconel or 100% titanium. Both of the Print-X Rotex and SRBS models are available in 5.56 and 7.62 variants, in titanium or Inconel, hub compatible, and in full-size, compact, and mini-k versions. The new Print-X suppressors are available worldwide through authorized retailers.

Below is a statement from B&T on the new additions to the Print-X series Rotex and SRBS, as well as additional information.

Press Release

B&T USA is proud to introduce its next generation of 3D printed Rotex and SRBS models now within the Print-X family of suppressors — available globally. These suppressors are quickly and easily identifiable thanks to B&T’s signature bead-blasted gray finish and new tube texturing. An extremely low flash endcap has been engineered to provide industry-leading flash suppression, while B&T’s high-performance patent-pending Star Baffles are now available in 3D printed form, providing less backpressure and greater sound suppression. Lastly, there is no change to pricing, and models are available for purchase through dealers and distributors at the time of this release.

“The improvements made to our 3D printed SRBS and Rotex suppressors within the Print-X family are examples of how our customers and end-users continue to reap the benefits of our R&D team continually pushing what is possible in both material and design,” said Chris Mudgett, Vice President of Marketing for B&T USA. “As a suppressor manufacturer with nearly 700 different suppressors, it’s safe to say our engineering team refuses to leave well enough alone, and our products are in a perpetual state of advancement to ensure our customers receive the most cutting-edge technology possible, providing them with a substantial advantage in the field.”

Hub System

Our new rifle suppressors are made up of our traditional baffled Rotex and our hybrid Slim Reduced Backpressure System (SRBS), both available in 5.56 and 7.62. Each suppressor is constructed using laser bed fusion manufacturing techniques and is available in either 718 Inconel or 100% titanium. Each rifle suppressor will ship with a Rotex-SF HUB compatible with all B&T Rotex flash hiders and all SureFire SOCOM flash hiders, muzzle brakes, and WarComp hybrid muzzle devices. Both the Rotex and SRBS suppressors are fully 3D printed and weldless. The Rotex-SF HUB is machined from titanium bar stock. Direct Mount HUB assemblies are available in Inconel or titanium.

3D Printing Process

Constructed using laser bed fusion manufacturing techniques, our traditionally baffled Rotex rifle suppressors are made from 718 Inconel and are completely weldless. Each suppressor is threaded 1.375x24TPI, making it fully HUB compatible, should you choose to mix and match your attachment interfaces. The Rotex ships with B&T’s Rotex-SF HUB assembly, which is compatible with all B&T Rotex flash hiders, as well as all SureFire SOCOM flash hiders, Warcomps, and muzzle brakes. The Rotex-SF HUB is machined from titanium bar stock. NATO-Spec A2 and Direct-Mount HUB assemblies are available as accessory items.

The Print-X Rotex and SRBS suppressors are available now through authorized retailers worldwide. The Print-X Rotex retails for $775 for the Inconel version and $1250 for the titanium version, while the Rotex 7.62 is priced at $805 for Inconel and $1300 for titanium. However, specific pricing for the SRBS models was not readily available from most sources. The only listed price I found was from Capitol Armory, which offers the SRBS 7.62 at $950. These innovative suppressors, with their advanced manufacturing techniques and robust construction, are poised to offer significant advantages to both professional and civilian users alike, reinforcing B&T’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge technology and superior performance in the field.
