Overbuilt housings, coupled with a user-replaceable crush hood, protect the crystal-clear Japanese glass and circuitry that power our patent-pending AuraWake reticle.
AURAWAKE
AuraWake is our patent-pending innovation in shake-to-wake technology, designed with user safety in mind. Many optics automatically shut off after a set number of hours to conserve battery life. Accelerometers (motion-sensing devices) are typically used to reactivate the optic when the weapon is moved. However, these devices can become unreliable after heavy impact testing, which is why we initially chose not to implement a traditional shake-to-wake system in the LP-1.
We are now proud to introduce AuraWake, a partial shake-to-wake system that ties the accelerometer solely to the 65 MOA ring. After 5 minutes of inactivity, the LP-1’s outer CQB ring enters sleep mode, while the 2 MOA dot remains active at all times. This ensures a constant, action-ready aiming point that is immune to accelerometer failure, while also significantly extending battery life.
