In 2025, Canik released the METE MC9 PRIME, a compensated and upgraded evolution of the original MC9 platform that quickly gained attention for combining aggressive styling, improved ergonomics, optics-ready capability, and Canik’s well-known trigger system into a carry-focused handgun.
