The final Colt Python rolled out of Colt’s Custom Gun Shop back in 2005 with the end of limited production. Six years before that Colt ceased the official production of the Colt Python. The Python was premier revolver in Colt’s lineup with a reputation of superior quality and craftsmanship. Now, after 15 years the iconic Colt Python returns.

The Python returns in stainless steel with 4.25 inch and 6 inch barrel length, a double-action revolver, a redesigned rear sight. The redesigned rear sight allowed Colt to put 30% more steel beneath the rear sight. Which gives you a stronger and more robust shooting experience. The iconic revolver also comes with interchangeable front sight, walnut grip, and chambered in .357 magnum. The Colt Python will retail at $1,499.

Below is the product description and specs from Colt.
