J Allen Enterprises (JAE) is a Canadian company that has been in business of manufacturing precision rifle chassis since 2003. Back in 2019, the renowned company was acquired by MDT. Recently, JAE has released the new generation of their precision bolt-action rifle chassis which will be their first product under the MDT umbrella. The company is proud to introduce their new JAE-700 G4 Chassis that is designed for precision long-range shooting.
The new JAE-700 G4 chassis is compatible with Remington 700 short action rifles. The chassis features a full length aluminum skeleton with polymer side panels and rubber inserts between these main components to cut down on felt recoil. The skeleton is machined out of 6061-T6 aluminum and finished with a Type III milspec hard coat anodized finish. The JAE-700 G4 chassis also features: an adjustable cheekpiece, spacer-adjustable rubber buttpad, as well as angled and vertical grip options with adjustable palm rests.
An innovative feature of new precision chassis is the adjustable magazine well which allows shooters to, “adjust for fit of magazine by moving front collet fore and aft and adjust for feed by moving vertical sear in mag release“. This allows for individual shooters to fine tune the position to allow for the reliable feeding from the magazine.
The front end of the chassis has M-Lok rail panels on the side and the bottom. The bottom section also comes with a Harris bipod adapter and a built-in Arca Swiss rail. Three sling attachments options are QD Swivel sockets on either side of the chassis. The JAE-700 G4 chassis has an overall length of 33.5” and a length of pull 13.5” and weighs in at 6.25 lbs.
The new JAE-700 G4 chassis is available now for preorder on the company’s website for $1,999.95 MSRP. For more on JAE’s new chassis and other products, click here.
