Type-A Rifle Company is firearms manufacturer based out of Grand Rapids, MI who is known for making high quality AR-15s and PCC builds. Recently, Type-A released their new Ambidextrous Billet AR-10 series of rifles to the market. The new AR-10s from Type-A will feature the same quality, high end components, and build quality that the company is known for. The majority of the components for Type-A’s new AR-10s will be made in-house from their facility in Grand Rapids.
Type-A Rifle Company built this rifle from the ground up with its intent to be an evolution of the AR-10 platform. Painstaking attention to detail and quality of life improvements where put into play with their new Ambi Billet AR-10s. The company decided to do a billeted upper and lower receivers versus forged. Taking inspiration from their successful lineup of AR-15 billet lineup. They incorporated ambidextrous controls for quality of life improvements for shooters. While adding in a flared magwell into the lower receiver for easier reloads. All the design choices from Type-A were thoughtfully incorporated upgrades and quality of life improvements of their rifles for the end user.
The new Ambi Billet AR-10s from Type-A will feature: billeted upper and lower receivers, Type-A stainless steel match grade barrel in various lengths (Barrel lengths between 10.5”-18”), a Titanium Nitride BCG, Type-A’s PMC 2-stage trigger, B5 Systems furniture, and a Savior Equipment rifle bag. Type-A also guarantees sub-MOA accuracy when using match grade ammunition out of their AR-10s. The company is also looking to expand Ambi Billet AR-10 chambered in the popular 6.5 Creedmoor.

I was deployed twice during my time in. I did one deployment to Afghanistan and my second was on apart of 31st MEU. I departed the military in September of 2015. I currently work as an RSO at a local range in Vegas.
