Crimson Trace is proud to announce the release of their heavily anticipated Heavy Recoil Optic or HRO for short. The new red dot optic is designed for heavier recoiling rifles such as the FN SCAR-H or a Knights Armament SR-25. The new HRO was officially unveiled earlier this year at Shot Show 2022. The HRO comes standard with a rugged design to handle greater recoil, intuitive controls, and the ability to co-witness iron sights.
The HRO was designed from the ground up for the heavier recoiling rifle platforms such as a AR-10 or FN SCAR-H. The housing for the HRO is made out of aerospace aluminum so it’s lightweight and durable. Putting it in the same category as the popular EOTech XPS2. The HRO also features an 8 hour auto shutoff, a CT Motion Sensor aka a shake awake system, and a integrated mounting system. The new optic from CT offers 50,000 hours of battery life off of one CR2 battery.
Below, is the product description and specs for the HRO from Crimson Trace.
