JagerWerks Engineering is known far and wide within the industry for providing aftermarket enhancements to your bone stock pistols. The company specializes in slide milling, optic cuts, and cerakote for your pistol of choice. Over the last couple of months JagerWerks has been teasing a new product that is outside of their normal wheelhouse. JagerWerks is excited to introduce the brand new JagerWerks A1 Optic and Accessory Mounts to their lineup.
The new A1 Optic Mount from JagerWerks will feature a 2.25” height from picatinny rail to optic centerline. Which means the optic allows for a more heads up shooting position for the shooter. The A1 Optic Mount will be compatible with Aimpoint’s T1/T2 footprint and with other optics who share that footprint. The A1 Accessory Mount can be attached to the front end of the A1 mount so you can attach the laser/IR designator of your choice.
The new A1 Optic and Accessory Mounts are made from aerospace grade 7075 Aluminum with a type III hard anodized coating. The optic and accessory mounts are available in Troy Tan, OD Green, Sniper Grey, and Black.
Below, is the product description for the A1 Optic and Accessory Mounts from JagerWerks.

The new JagerWerks A1 Optic and Accessory Mounts are a direct competitor to the recently released Hydra Mount by GBRS Group. The new Hydra Mount has already been seen in the wild and used by a police officer in Tacoma hitting a suspect at over 180 yards. So we are already seeing value from this design language.
The biggest con to the Hydra is its gluttonous price point of $599. The new JagerWerks A1 Optic Mount retails at $175 and the A1 Accessory Mount retails at $85 on the company’s website. Bringing the grand total up to $260 for both. Blowing the Hydra Mount price point out of the water. While providing the same end goal for the user.
