Unity Tactical is well-known for its FAST series of optic mounts. The FAST series provides the end user with a quicker sight picture of their target versus standard height mounts. Unity Tactical is proud to announce the newest addition to the FAST series with the FAST Optic Riser Mount. The new riser mount clips onto your Picatinny rail and elevates your optic centerline to 2.26” inches. This optical height adjustment allows for a more heads-up shooting position when gathering your sight picture. While also making it a more comfortable shooting experience when using heavy gear such as helmets, comm gear, and gas masks.
Below, is the product description for the new Unity Tactical FAST Optic Mount Riser.
FAST™ is a series of optic mounts and platforms that provide end users with a quicker sight picture than standard height mounts. A 2.26” optical centerline height provides faster/easier reticle acquisition while wearing electronic earpro/communications headsets, night vision goggles and gas masks and allows for more rapid visual processing of the battlefield by promoting a heads-up posture. A heads-up posture also helps users maintain a neutral spine position which is more comfortable while wearing helmets, plate carriers, and other heavy gear.
The FAST™ Optic Riser securely elevates direct-to-rail red dot optics with a standard lower 1/3 co-witness picatinny mount to a 2.26″ optical center line. FAST™ Optic Riser provides an elevated M1913 Picatinny platform for direct attachment of optics such as EOTech EXPS®, Vortex UH-1® and other lower 1/3 co-witness optics.
The FAST™ Optic Riser comes standard with a rail-grabber clamp.
The FAST™ Optic Riser is built from 7075-T6 Aluminum and Type III Hardcoat Anodized coating in Black or FDE.
The Unity FAST Optic Mount Riser is currently sold out on Unity’s website. The new riser from Unity Tactical retails for $99 regardless of color option. Now, a little bit about me. I served six years in the Marines Corps as an 0311. I was in 2nd BN 4th Marines, 5th Marine Reg, 1st Mar Div. I was in Golf Company while in 2/4. I was deployed twice during my time in. I did one deployment to Afghanistan and my second was on apart of 31st MEU. I departed the military in September of 2015. I currently work as an RSO at a local range in Vegas.
