Press Release
Today, Swampfox Optics announced its premier first focal plane (FFP) low power variable optic (LPVO), the Warhorse 1-6x. Eagerly anticipated, Warhorse was meticulously developed and extensively tested to meet the high expectations of our loyal customer base and needs of the modern rifleman. Combining speed, precision, and versatility, Warhorse exemplifies the next evolution of Swampfox riflescopes.
Designed for smooth transitions from 1x to 6x magnification, Warhorse excels in rapid target acquisition and long-range precision shooting. Built on the legacy of Swampfox riflescopes, the latest LPVO displays enhanced performance with a 34mm tube diameter, 24mm objective lens, and parallax setting of 100 yards, delivering an expansive field of view at varying distances and consistent eye relief across its entire magnification range. Warhorse also showcases superior optical clarity with high-quality, multi-coated, anti-fog, and hydrophobic lenses.
Equipped with a push/pull locking elevation turret with zero reset and capped windage turret, Warhorse offers secure and precise 0.25 MOA/0.1 MIL adjustments. It also features a 12-position illumination turret with intermittent on and off settings, powered by a side-mounted CR2032 battery for lasting performance. Shooters can choose between MOA or MIL glass-etched illuminated reticle options and take advantage of night vision-compatible, low light, and daylight bright settings.
Despite its compact and lightweight design, Warhorse delivers unbeatable performance on any rifle platform. Capable of withstanding 1,100 g-forces and being submerged in water, Warhorse’s robust construction and IPX7 waterproof rating ensure reliability despite heavy recoil, accidental drops, and all-weather conditions.
A testament to the confidence we place in our products, every Warhorse is backed by Swampfox’s Limited Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing and material defects.
Swampfox also offers 10-year coverage on the LED, with lifetime coverage on all other aspects. If the optic encounters performance-compromising damage, Swampfox is committed to repairing or replacing it.
