A couple of years ago, Aero Precision introduced the world to their new bolt action chassis system, the SOLUS. The rifle was based on the iconic Remington 700 short action line. The SOLUS marked a departure for the company, known for crafting solid and affordable rifles at respectable price points. This new offering aimed to disrupt the market, making bolt action rifle ownership more accessible. Now, Aero Precision proudly unveils new SOLUS barrels, expanding their lineup and offering users greater versatility in caliber selection.
The SOLUS barrels are pre-fit, shouldered barrels, designed to seamlessly integrate with SOLUS actions using specialized tools. These barrels undergo honing and lapping processes to meet Aero’s stringent quality standards. They are also compatible with Zermatt Origin pre-fit actions. Available calibers include .308 Win, 6mm Creedmoor, 6.5 Creedmoor, and 6.5 PRC, with barrel lengths ranging from 20 to 26 inches depending on the chambering.
The barrels are now accessible on Aero’s website, with prices ranging from $459 to $599 MSRP based on caliber and barrel length. For more information on the Aero SOLUS and its barrels, click here.
