Recently, the ATF has shutdown AutoKeyCard and seized its website domain. The ATF has also arrested the owner Kristopher Ervin for the manufacturing of a machine gun.
Back in late December ATF raided Detroit-based Diversified Machine and had all their entire inventory seized by federal agents. Diversified Machine is one of several companies that sells Form 1 kits (which is legal). Last week, information was circulating on social media that TommyBuilt Tactical had received a letter from the ATF. Prominent voices within the firearm community such as Garand Thumb and others mentioned the news in their story or as an actual post. The post that was going around was a video of Tommy of TommyBuilt destroying his very first T36 lower receiver.
Yesterday, on social media information was circulating that TommyBuilt Tactical had received a letter from the ATF. In that potential letter the ATF classified TommyBuilt Tactical T36 receiver as a machinegun receiver.
