Yesterday, on Infinity Ward’s YouTube page they released a 24-minute gameplay trailer for the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare releasing October 25. The gameplay trailer is standard multiplayer goodness you would expect for the Call of Duty franchise.
Yesterday, on Infinity Ward’s YouTube page they released a 24-minute gameplay trailer for the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare releasing October 25. The gameplay trailer is standard multiplayer goodness you would expect for the Call of Duty franchise.
In the 24-minute trailer you will see 5 multiplayer maps. Those maps are: Azhir Cave (Day & Night), Gunrunner, Hackney Yard (Day & Night), Aniyah Palace, and Grazna Raid. The maps have a diverse layout from confined to open areas of Azhir Cave which allow for multiple play styles. To the to urban environments of Aniyah Palace and Grazna Raid which are designed for more CQB style engagements. Which allow for deep customization of loadouts for multiplayer gamers.
The game modes shown during the multiplayer matches where Domination, Team Death Match, Cyber Attack, and Headquarters. Which is pretty much standard multiplayer modes within the Call of Duty series. If it’s not broke don’t fix it in my opinion.
I found a couple of interesting tidbits while watching the trailer. On the Gunrunner map on the railroads you will see two players engaged in a knife fight with each other. I was curious if it was a quick time event that you get to participate in if the circumstances are met. Also, on Gunrunner you see the use of the mini gun with the heavy armor for a quick snippet. In Azhir Cave (Night) and I think Grazna Raid you get to witness some pretty cool knife kill animations. The three I noticed was with a knife, machete, and battle axe, which were pretty dope.

Now, a little bit about me. I served six years in the Marines Corps as an 0311. I was in 2nd BN 4th Marines, 5th Marine Reg, 1st Mar Div. I was in Golf Company while in 2/4. I was deployed twice during my time in. I did one deployment to Afghanistan and my second was on apart of 31st MEU. I departed the military in September of 2015. I currently work as an RSO at a local range in Vegas.
