Recently, Zev Technologies released their new REDACTED upper and lower receivers. Over the last few years since Zev brought Mega Arms the company has steadily released more for the AR platform. Releasing their own AR’s and AR pistols. Now, their are adding the REDACTED upper receivers sets to the AR-15 market. The new receiver sets are made for maximum compatibility with mil-spec and aftermarket parts are accessories for the AR-15 platform, according to Zev.
The new REDACTED Zev receivers are made from 7075-T651 aluminum and are machined to exceed mil-spec requirements. Those tolerances are held within .001 tolerance plus or minus. The upper weighs in at 7.2 ounces while the lower weighs in at 8.4 ounces. The upper and the lower receivers are sold separately and comes completely stripped.
REDACTED TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:
Lower Receiver
• True Black Class 2 Type 3 Hard coat anodize
• Features the original “GATOR GRIP” texture on the front of the magstrap for added grip
• Generous flare cut to the magazine well for quick magazine changes
• Nylon tipped tension screw for adjusting fitment to various uppers
Upper Receiver
• Machined from American Made 7075-T651 forged aluminum
• Machined to exceed Mil-Spec requirements, with critical tooling dimensions held within +/- .001″
• True Black Class 2 Type 3 Hard coat anodize
• Compatible with all Mil-Spec parts kits
• M4 feed ramps cut standard

Now, a little bit about me. I served six years in the Marines Corps as an 0311. I was in 2nd BN 4th Marines, 5th Marine Reg, 1st Mar Div. I was in Golf Company while in 2/4. I was deployed twice during my time in. I did one deployment to Afghanistan and my second was on apart of 31st MEU. I departed the military in September of 2015. I currently work as an RSO at a local range in Vegas.
