Last week, Springfield Armory released a cryptic photograph on their social media teasing something new from the firearm manufacturer. A social media post I did not have the opportunity to see in my thread. In the image released by Springfield it showed an gunsmith working at his bench on some unknown project. The caption read, “We’re bringing it back.” This image and caption lead to wide spread speculation within the community on what Springfield had up its sleeve. Then, on Monday news flooded the market on Springfield Armory’s SA-35, a faithful reproduction of the iconic Browning Hi-Power pistol.
The Springfield SA-35 is a faithful and authentic clone of the iconic Hi-Power pistol with some modern quality of life upgrades. The new SA-35 still captures the true spirit, design, and beauty of the iconic Hi-Power. While also adding an extended safety, greater magazine capacity (15 vs 13), beveled magazine well, and modern sights.
Below, is product description and specs for the new SA-35.
