Last week, CZ’s social media teased the next evolution to the CZ Scorpion platform. The wait is finally over. Now, we have the details on what the next evolution of Scorpion EVO has to offer. The CZ Scorpion EVO is one of the most popular and well recognized 9mm submachine gun/PCC’s of the last decade. Even, with that popularity many owners wished for a host of upgrades and quality of life improvements that would create a better user experience. The new CZ Scorpion 3+ looks to address the shortcomings of its predecessor.
The new CZ Scorpion 3+ features many upgrades over previous iterations of the popular platform. The new enhancements includes AR-style ambidextrous magazine release, an ambidextrous bolt catch, upgraded grip design, and aluminum iron sights attached to the top rail. CZ has also redesigned the polymer handguard to reduce heat transfer between the upper receiver and the handguard when shooting. The new handguard also allows for more accessory attachments than previous iterations. Last but, not least the CZ Scorpion 3+ also features a new magazine design that is also backwards compatible to pervious iterations. Which is smart and thoughtful design choice by CZ.
Below, is the product description and specs from CZ-USA’s website.
