Sellier & Bellot (S&B) is one of the longest running ammunition manufacturers in the world. Sellier & Bellot has been making ammunition out of the Czech Republic since 1825. The fabled ammo company is now producing a new solid copper hollow-point bullet called XRG Defense. The new defensive round is available in .380 Auto, 9mm, .40 S&W, 10mm Auto, and 45 ACP.
The new XRG lineup of ammunition features lightweight projectiles that produced less felt recoil, high velocity, and reliable expansion from upon your target. The new ammunition is designed with concealed carry and self defense applications in mind.
The 9mm version of the XRG line has a bullet weight of 100-grains and comes out screaming from the muzzle at 1,312 ft/sec. While the 10mm weighs in at 130-grains and has a muzzle velocity of 1,362 ft/sec and hitting with 723 Joules of energy. That is about a 40% increase compared to 9mm which hits at 520 Joules. The new XRG Defense ammunition is moving fast and hitting hard upon it’s attended target.

I was deployed twice during my time in. I did one deployment to Afghanistan and my second was on apart of 31st MEU. I departed the military in September of 2015. I currently work as an RSO at a local range in Vegas.
