Early this year at Shot Show, Holosun unveiled new red dots that would be released sometime this year. One of the most popular red dots to be announced was the Holosun 507 Comp. The new 507 Comp boasts a huge optic window designed with competitive shooters in mind. The 507 Comp also features Holosun’s new Competition Reticle System (C.R.S.). The C.R.S. features a 2 MOA red dot and an 8/20/32 MOA circle to suit the individual shooter’s preference.

This mammoth optic is made of 7075 T6 aluminum and boasts a 50,000-hour battery life on medium settings. That means the 507 Comp aim to be the rugged and reliable option for competitive shooters.

Below is the product overview from Holosun on the new 507 Comp.

Product Overview

507Comp-RD handgun sight features a large 1.1” x 0.87” objective lens for enhanced shooting performance and Holosun’s new Competition Reticle System (CRS) with Holosun’s 650nm Red Super LED and up to 50k hour battery life with a 1632 cell.

CRS is an enhanced multi-reticle system with four components, including a precision 2MOA dot, an 8MOA circle, a 20MOA circle, and a 32MOA circle with multiple combination settings to suit individual shooter preference.  507Comp-RD is made from 7075 aluminum with an industry-standard footprint, and includes Shake Awake technology.

Holosun has the 507 Comp scheduled for release at the end of Q2 2023, so it should be available around June. If you look up the 507 Comp, it is currently listed but unavailable for purchase, but its availability is around the corner. The Holosun 507 Comp red dot version retails for $435 MSRP, and the green dot version for $470 MSRP. For more on Holosun’s new optic, click here.
