The popularity of the Sub-2000 was its ability to fold and be carried discreetly in a small bag or day pack. Now, Keltec is proud to introduce the next evolution of their popular PCC with the Sub-2000 Gen 3.
The new PCC from Keltec takes consumer feedback and implements these changes cleanly and elegantly while still maintaining the heritage and manual of arms of the previous generations of the Sub-2000. The Gen 3 most significant upgrade is keeping red dots and weapon-mounted lights (WMLs) attached when folded. Now, end users can keep a red dot sight and WML attached, making the Gen 3 a more capable and accurate firearm. Keltec has a patent-pending twist-and-fold motion for the forend of the gun. To restore the firearm to its original form, hit the locking lever on the buttstock, twist the forend in either direction, and snap it into place.
The Gen 3 also has other quality-of-life improvements, such as an aluminum trigger, a lightened trigger pull, and an ambidextrous bolt hold open. The new trigger allows for a high-quality feel and a better trigger break and reset when compared to previous models. Keltec also redesigned the operating handle that allows for a more effortless and fluid pull when changing the Gen 3.
The Sub-2000 Gen 3 sought to improve the quality of life on their signature products drastically. The Gen 3 has greater versatility and enhances the ease of use by allowing red dots and WML to be attached and not removed. Keltec has also improved the trigger and operating handle, allowing for a better shooting experience for the end user. The Gen 3 seemed to have reached the final form Keltec originally envisioned.

Now, a little bit about me. I served six years in the Marines Corps as an 0311. I was in 2nd BN 4th Marines, 5th Marine Reg, 1st Mar Div. I was in Golf Company while in 2/4. I was deployed twice during my time in. I did one deployment to Afghanistan and my second was on apart of 31st MEU. I departed the military in September of 2015. I currently work as an RSO at a local range in Vegas.
