At SHOT Show 2023, Holosun unveiled the prototype model of their Digital Rifle Sight-Night Vision (DRS-NV). Throughout the year, Holosun’s engineers diligently refined the prototype. Fast forward to SHOT Show 2024, and Holosun is back, showcasing a production-ready model of their fusion red dot/digital night vision optic. According to a recent press release, the new Holosun DRS-NV is slated to hit store shelves by the end of February. Let’s delve deeper into Holosun’s DRS-NV.
The DRS-NV represents the seamless integration of a red dot sight and digital night vision setup. Featuring an LED Emitter equipped with Holosun’s MRS (Multi-Reticle System), the DRS-NV offers a range of digital reticle options designed to complement digital night vision capabilities. The digital night vision system boasts a 1024×768 image resolution at 60fps, with digital zoom capabilities of up to 8x. Additionally, users can capture videos and images on the fly, storing them on the 32 GB onboard storage.

Powered by either two 18350 rechargeable batteries or two CR123 batteries, the Holosun DRS-NV boasts a battery life of 8 hours. The device also includes an onboard magnetic connection, facilitating battery charging and enabling users to download images and videos stored on the internal drive via USB. Furthermore, the DRS-NV features an Observation mode, which can enhance battery efficiency by 20% by disabling image and recording functions.

Holosun’s DRS-NV is on the horizon, with the hybrid optic set to be available by the end of February at a retail price of $1177.00, as per the recent press release. For more information on the DRS-NV and other Holosun products, click here.
