Press Release

Central Falls, Rhode Island – May, 2024 – Rosco Manufacturing, an expert American manufacturer of hard-use precision rifle barrels, is excited to announce the launch of the K9 16” Barrel in collaboration with Barrel & Hatchet. This product further extends its top-selling K9 Barrel series.

“We are constantly looking for new ways to improve the shooting experience for our users, and this barrel is developed to do just that,” said Rosco Manufacturing President Mike D’Angelo Jr. “We’re excited to get the K9 16’’ barrel into the hands of Rosco shooters and provide another solution for them to produce top results, whether that’s on the range or in competition.”

The K9 16″ features an intermediate-length gas system with an optimized gas port to run reliably suppressed and/or unsuppressed. It also features a 416R stainless finish with nitride treatment, offering both longevity and accuracy. The barrel’s intermediate gas system provides a softer recoil over mid-length, allowing the shooter to produce quicker follow-up shots on target.

The new collaborative barrel is available now on Rosco’s website for $225. The K9 barrel offers a great starting place for someone building their first rifle or for anyone looking for the foundation of a solid general-purpose rifle build.
