The AF1911 Romulus is a polymer-framed, double stack 1911 that features a slide and barrel made of 416 stainless steel, finished with a Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating. This coating allows for exceptional lubrication, enhanced wear resistance, and reduced carbon buildup. The frame includes a full-length Picatinny rail for mounting a weapon lights or lasers. The AF1911 is compatible with most double stack 1911 magazines currently on the market.
Alpha Foxtrot aims to build the best pistol possible with the Romulus. Their “one gunsmith per gun” philosophy ensures the highest level of accountability and quality control. Once the pistol comes off the line, the Romulus 1911 is polished, hand-fitted, and assembled by a single gunsmith to maintain the integrity of the building process. The triggers for Alpha Foxtrot pistols are tested and feature an estimated pull weight of 3-3.5 lbs. Each AF1911 Romulus is test-fired and checked for trigger proper trigger pull weight, proper fitment, and overall craftsmanship.
