The Vickers Tactical Master Class 1911 is the culmination of work between Springfield, Vickers Tactical, and Wilson Combat. The three companies designed the Master Class 1911 to be a feature rich with custom shop quality without the $3,000 price tag.
The Vickers Master Class features Wilson Combat hammer and safety, Vickers Elite Battle Sights, a match grade trigger, and woven rear slide serrations and much more.
Below are the specs of the Vickers Tactical Master Class 1911.
In a statement Larry Vickers shared his thoughts about the collaboration process with Springfield Armory and Wilson Combat on the project saying:
“I’m pleased with the Vickers Tactical Master Class 1911 and how a real team effort brought it together. Springfield Armory, Lipsey’s, Wilson Combat and I got to work to bring a superb quality pistol to the market at a great price point. I’m proud to be a part of it.”
Dennis Reese CEO of Springfield Armory also shared his thoughts on the Master Class 1911 saying:
“We are extremely proud to have partnered with respected firearms expert and combat veteran Larry Vickers of Vickers Tactical on this exciting new pistol. This pistol, which combines Vickers’ tactical expertise with Springfield Armory’s renowned manufacturing skills, delivers a top-tier 1911 for the most serious of applications.”
The Vickers Tactical Master Class 1911 will be available through a Lipsey’s dealer and available for order soon. The Master Class 1911 will be chambered in .45ACP and retail for $1,495 MSRP. That puts the Master Class at the high end of the affordable range for 1911 pistols.
