When it has come down to hard cases Pelican has been the clear cut King. There are other hard case manufacturers for firearms but, everyone is chasing the king. As, Omar from ‘The Wire’ says, “If you come for the king. You bet not miss.” Same sentiment applies to new comer on the market Bear Hyde. This new company makes premium ultralight carbon fiber firearm cases. This new company is looking to make a niche of its own and carve out some of the territory that Pelican has dominated.
Bear Hyde intends on making their presence known on the market by creating the premier gun case solution. These new premium cases feature: Vacuum Rigidizing Structure (VRS) on the interior of the case, carbon fiber construction, and CNC machined aluminum hardware. All this style and technology comes at a hefty price point also. The new Bear Hyde cases start at an MSRP of $2,000.
Below, is the official press release from Bear Hyde regarding their new carbon fiber gun cases.
