Long range precision shooting continues to be a section that grows within competitive shooting. Now, PROOF Research is entering the fray with their PROOF Research MDT Chassis Rifle. The rifle was designed to be an out of the box ready rifle tailor made for precision long range shooting.
The MDT chassis forms the foundation of this competition rifle with PROOF Research colors (red and black) and engravings. The MDT chassis that this rifle sits on is feature rich. The chassis features adjustable cheek weld and length of pull, MDT buttstock weight, Zermatt Arms TL3, action, and a Trigger Tech Pro Curved Diamond trigger. The MDT buttstock weight is meant to balance the rifle and provide less felt recoil. While the Trigger Tech Diamond trigger features an adjustable pull weight of 4-32 oz.
The chassis also features an full ARCA rail along with M-Lok rails running down the length of the chassis’s body. An Area 419 Hellfire muzzle break to help reduce recoil and muzzle rise. Now, a little bit about me. I served six years in the Marines Corps as an 0311. I was in 2nd BN 4th Marines, 5th Marine Reg, 1st Mar Div. I was in Golf Company while in 2/4. I was deployed twice during my time in. I did one deployment to Afghanistan and my second was on apart of 31st MEU. I departed the military in September of 2015. I currently work as an RSO at a local range in Vegas.
