The micro-compact scene has been growing in popularity since the success of the Glock 48 and more specifically the P365 series from SIG SAUER. Not to be left out in the cold Springfield Armory introduced the highly successful Hellcat in 2019. In 2020, the Hellcat won Ballistic Magazine’s Best Compact Handgun. Driving home the success of the Hellcat to Springfield even more. With the success of the original Hellcat Springfield has decided to expand its roster with the new Hellcat Pro.
The new Hellcat Pro is virtually the same as it’s predecessor in its looks, design, and operation. The differences are in its features. The new Hellcat Pro features a longer slide, barrel, and grip. The overall design language is more reminiscent of a G48 than SIG P365 XL but, falls within those parameters. The New Hellcat Pro is 1” wide, 4.8” tall, and features a 15+1 magazine capacity. The new pistol also features Hellcat’s Tritium U-shape iron sights, adaptive grip texture, optics ready, and a Picatinny rail for lights and lasers.
Below, is the product description, promotional information, and specs for the new Hellcat Pro from Springfield Armory.
Combining the performance of a larger handgun with class-leading concealability and capacity, the new Hellcat Pro® is a compact pistol that delivers the perfect balance. Chambered in 9mm, the Hellcat® Pro offers 15+1 capacity in a smaller footprint than any other gun in its class. Optics ready and equipped with a versatile accessory rail, this exceptional everyday carry pistol combines compact dimensions with the performance capabilities of a full-sized pistol.
No Equal
The Hellcat® Pro packs in an impressive 15 + 1 capacity with the flush-fitting magazine while maintaining its ergonomic, slim profile. The result is a pistol that carries more capacity in a smaller footprint than any other gun in its class.
The Best Of Both Worlds
Designed to offer the best of both worlds, the Hellcat Pro delivers full-size performance in a concealable, EDC-ready package. The slim-line grip feels superb in hand, increasing contact and control, while the additional mass in the slide and barrel translates into reduced muzzle flip and faster follow-up shots.
