Emissary Development is known for creating firearm accessories that are innovative and useful to modern shooters. Recently, the company introduced its Paddle Shifters for Surefire X300 series. The new shifter switches the paddles upward to the thumb of you’re support hand. Which allows for shooters to manipulate the shifter easily with your support hand thumb. This designs allows for shooters to keep their proper grip and maintain control of the pistol while activating the light.
The new Emissary Development Paddle Shifter is made of a nylon material and is available in black only. The shifter allows for momentary and constant on light activation. The paddles are a drop-in part that doesn’t need any special tools to install the shifters onto the weapon light.
The Paddle Shifter from Emissary Development is compatible with the following Surefire weapon lights: X300U-A, X300U-B, X300V, X300V-B, X400U, X400V, X400VH, XH30, X400UH, XH35, XVL2-IRC. The Paddle Shifters have been tested with a wide array of pistols and holster by Emissary Development to guarantee compatibility. The company has a list of compatible handguns and holsters as well as non-compatible holsters. For the non-compatible holsters Emissary advises that they can be modified to fit.
The Emissary Development Paddle Shifter is currently sold out at the time of writing this article. The Paddle Shifter by Emissary retails at $28 MSRP on the company’s website.
