The firearm industry mainly focuses on offering discount programs for military and law enforcement personnel. These programs don’t extend outside to other highly dangerous and critical job occupations that serve our communities. Springfield Armory’s new FRISTLINE program aims to offer a discount to more than just military and law enforcement. The new program offers discounts to firefighters, EMTs, medical, judicial, and select aviation personnel. All that is needed to take advantage and participate in the discount is appropriate identification associated with your job.
The FIRSTLINE program from Springfield Armory acknowledges the dangers faced by a wide range of occupations and the potential dangerous scenarios that work can entail. Giving these professions easier access to purchase a firearm for self-defense purposes or protection of another. The program offers the FIRSTLINE discount to unique occupations such as commercial pilots, court judges, prosecutors, EMTs, paramedics, and volunteer firefighters.
Below, is the press release from Springfield Armory on the new FIRSTLINE discount program.

The program, open to a wide range of qualified professionals, offers a select listing of Springfield Armory firearms at discounted pricing in a simple, streamlined process. Following is a listing of those who qualify for the FIRSTLINE program:
• Sworn Law Enforcement Officers (active and retired) • EMT’s, Fire Fighters, Volunteer Fire Fighters and Paramedics • Military personnel including Reservists and National Guard (active and retired) • Honorably Discharged Veterans • Corrections Officers, Parole and Probation Officers • State Licensed Armed Security Officers employed by State-Licensed Companies • Commercial Pilots and Federal Flight Deck Officers • Court Judges and Prosecutors • LE Academy Cadets
Unlike other comparable programs, FIRSTLINE is designed to be as simple and non-cumbersome as possible, ensuring qualified first responders can access the benefits as easily as possibly. The select line of FIRSTLINE firearms from Springfield Armory includes 38 specific models and variants, and all pistols offered in the line come with three magazines. The products offered in the FIRSTLINE program come from the Hellcat, 1911, XD, SAINT, Hellion and M1A families of firearms.
