Last week, Strike Industries (SI) just announced the release of their newest iteration to one of its most popular products. Strike Industries is proud to introduce the new Oppressor Universal. The Oppressor was designed by Strike to reduce the concussive blast of a round being fired from rifle for yourself and those around you. This compensator from SI offers a simple and eloquent design solution to reducing felt recoil and redirect the muzzle blast and sound away from the shooter. The new Universal Oppressor system now gives consumers a simple way to transfer the device between multiple firearms with its 3-lug attachment system.
Below, is the product description and features of Strike Industries Oppressor Universal.
The Strike Industries OPPRESSOR Universal is a blast shield that works with almost any muzzle device on the market that has a maximum outer diameter of 25.00mm (0.98”). This OPPRESSOR U version works just like the rest of the SI OPPRESSOR family and redirects blast and sound while maintaining the recoil reduction of muzzle devices. Designed with a SI proprietary 3-lug quick detach base, the OPPRESSOR Universal is easily installed and removed with a push and a slight turn. Install SI OPPRESSOR Universal 3-lug QD base, the included correct sized crush washer, properly set the timing/alignment of your muzzle device and you are ready to go. Fire your weapon with or without the OPPRESSOR Universal on.
The OPPRESSOR family is multi-caliber compatible with .223/5.56, .308/7.62 and 9mm calibers. The OPPRESSOR U is made of a steel core with a 6061-T6 aluminum body and is anodized. The Universal continues the SI OPPRESSOR line for redirecting the gas pressure produced by aggressive brakes and compensators.
Advanced internal geometry actively draws the gasses out and thrusts the gasses forward through ports to accomplish linear braking in order to retain more efficiency. The SI OPPRESSOR Universal can be rapidly installed before indoor shooting, outdoor public firing line or being kind to the classmates next to you while training.
• Works with muzzle devices that have a max outer diameter of 25.00mm (0.98”)
• Easy quick detach system using SI proprietary 3-lug QD base
• Redirects blast and sound forward while maintaining the recoil reduction of muzzle devices • Shoot next to someone without scaring the poop out of them

The SI Oppressor Universal is available now on their website and Wing Tactical. The new Oppressor will retail for $119.99 MSRP. For more on Strike’s Oppressor Universal and other products, click here.
