Primary Arms is set to release four new hunting-oriented riflescopes to the market. The new scopes are available in 3-9x40mm, 3-9x50mm, 4-12x40mm, and 4-12x50mm. These collection of scopes are known as the SLx Hunter series. Each optic has been optimized for hunting applications to help increase visibility on target and comes with duplex reticles.
The SLx Hunter in 3-9x40mm and 3-9x50mm scopes both feature 1” diameter body tubes. The difference comes in what you are looking for out of this hunting riflescope. The SLx Hunter 3-9x40mm comes in lighter weighing in at 15.3 ounces. Where the 50mm version comes in at 18.3 ounces and offers a slightly bigger exit pupil and better light transmission.
The two higher magnification models (4-12x) offer the same construction, duplex reticle, and build quality but offers greater magnification for hunters who hunt at longer distances.

I was deployed twice during my time in. I did one deployment to Afghanistan and my second was on apart of 31st MEU. I departed the military in September of 2015. I currently work as an RSO at a local range in Vegas.
