Welcome back, Mr. Wick. After a long hiatus, Keanu Reeves has returned to the big screen as the deadly and renowned assassin John Wick.
Earlier today, Lionsgate released the first official trailer for John Wick: Chapter 4, as we pick up the story with John out for revenge after the cliffhanger of 2019’s John Wick 3: Parabellum.
The synopsis for the new movie informs us that John Wick (Keanu Reeves) “uncovers a path to defeating the High Table,” which is the organization that he fights through the series’ third film.
Before John can defeat the High Table and “earn his freedom” this master assassin must face off against a new enemy with powerful alliances across the globe and forces that turn old friends into foes, according to the movie’s synopsis.
The two-minute, 29 seconds long trailer—set to Terry Jacks’ 1974 hit “Seasons in the Sun” opens with John mourning his dead wife Helen (Bridget Moynahan) before he is confronted by Caine (Donnie Yen).
In the new trailer, we see John face off against the unnerving, formidable, and formidable chilling, Marquis De Gramont, played by Bill Skarsgård. The way that John must win his freedom from the High Table is by defeating Gramont in one-on-one combat, according to Winston’s exposition in the trailer. John prepares for the battle ahead as he always did with a brand new suit and guns–a whole lot of guns.
In this trailer, we see what John does best: killing scores of assassins in complex, creative, and flashy ways on screen. The trailer shows him in a gunfight in Paris, riding in the desert on horseback while shooting people, bashing a man’s head in with nunchucks in a museum, hacking and slashing a man apart with an axe at a nightclub, and also getting into a close quarters gun/sword fight with Caine. We also see John reunite with Laurence Fishburne’s Bowery King.
Beyond Reeve, Yen, Fishburne, Skarsgard, McShane, and Moynahan, actors joining Reeves in John Wick: Chapter 4’s ensemble cast include Hiroyuki Sanada (Bullet Train), Shamier Anderson, Lance Reddick, pop musician Rina Sawayama, Scott Adkins, Marko Zaror, Natalie Tena, and Aimée Kwan.
The new John Wick trailer is out now. John Wick: Chapter Four releases March 24th, 2022.

Now, a little bit about me. I served six years in the Marines Corps as an 0311. I was in 2nd BN 4th Marines, 5th Marine Reg, 1st Mar Div. I was in Golf Company while in 2/4. I was deployed twice during my time in. I did one deployment to Afghanistan and my second was on apart of 31st MEU. I departed the military in September of 2015. I currently work as an RSO at a local range in Vegas.
