At Shot Show, Midwest Industries released the second generation of Alpha series accessories for the AK Platform. The 2nd generation includes top covers, handguards, stocks, and optic mounts for the AK platform. These accessories are a welcome addition to the American AK market since Zentico handguards are nigh impossible to import due to the ban. This new generation of AK accessories by Midwest Industries can fill that void.
Below are the product details for Midwest Industries’ second generation of AK accessories.
Alpha Series Folding Stock
• Shipped for rifle use, also compatible with Gear Head Works tailhook for arm brace use. Cosmetic arm brace plug sold separately to ensure the back beam is smooth.
• Adjustable polymer cheekpiece for comfortable use with all users
• Adjustable butt pad for increased usability with plate carriers or heavy gear
• 5-position locking beam with textured button for quick adjustment
• Heavy-duty side-folding mechanism constructed from 4140 heat-treated steel
• Compatible with firearms that include 1913 rail adaptor
• Reversible design for left-handed shooters
• Full-length locking lug for maximum strength
• Solid positive lock-up in both positions
• Steel clamp with large surface engagement
• Can be configured to the right or left folding
• Features 3 QD sling attachments

Now, a little bit about me. I served six years in the Marines Corps as an 0311. I was in 2nd BN 4th Marines, 5th Marine Reg, 1st Mar Div. I was in Golf Company while in 2/4. I was deployed twice during my time in. I did one deployment to Afghanistan and my second was on apart of 31st MEU. I departed the military in September of 2015. I currently work as an RSO at a local range in Vegas.
