In the dynamic world of optics, one name has been steadily rising to prominence – Swampfox Optics. This youthful optics manufacturer has swiftly captured a significant slice of the optics market by consistently delivering rugged and well-crafted LPVOs, prisms, and red dots, all while maintaining an enticingly competitive price point. Today, Swampfox proudly unveils the latest addition to their ever-expanding lineup, the Sentinel II Micro Dot Sight.
Crafted from a robust 7075-T6 aluminum body, now reinforced with a redesigned hood, the Sentinel II is set to redefine the standards of pistol red dot optics. Featuring 10 brightness settings, a shake-awake feature, a precise 3-MOA dot, and an impressive 50,000-hour battery life, it’s a testament to innovation. Moreover, the Sentinel II goes the extra mile with an integrated backup rear sight cleverly positioned at the front of the optic hood. Join us as we dive into the official product release for this game-changing optic from Swampfox.
Product Description
Clear, precise, tough, Swampfox Optics is excited to unveil its latest advancement in carry optics, the Sentinel II Micro Dot Sight. Maintaining a slimline profile and standard RMSc footprint, the second-generation optic features advanced functionality and superior construction with new, removable rear sight guide and 7075-T6 aluminum body and reinforced hood.
Engineered for everyday carry, Sentinel II features a crisp 3 MOA dot available in red or green illumination with 10 manually adjusted brightness settings. The optic’s widened 20mm lens, an upgrade over the previous generation’s 16mm window, is recessed into the hood for added durability and fully multi-coated for optimum clarity and resistance against scratches, fog, and water. Swampfox Shake N’ Wake auto on/off further optimizes run time of a bottom-loaded battery for up to 50,000 hours of grab-and-go readiness.
Installed forward of the optic window, the patented Sentinel II rear sight guide provides a guiding solution for subcompact and micro compact optic-equipped handguns missing their rear dovetail. Developed in partnership with leading tritium manufacturer, Night Fision, the rear sight guide is removable and available in complete blackout or tritium for increased visibility and precision. Matching cowitness front sights will be made available in the future for popular handgun models.
Offering an expansive 80 MOA windage and elevation adjustment range in 1 MOA clicks, shooters are well equipped to fine-tune their aim for any distance. And with tactile brightness and zeroing adjustments, Sentinel II provides user-friendly feedback even when wearing gloves and hearing protection.
The new Sentinel II Micro Dot is available now on Swampfox’s website and with authorized dealers. The new red dot will retail for $249 or $299, depending on if you get the blackout or tritium rear sight. For more on the Sentinel II click here.
