Shot Show 2024: LWRCI Unveils The New IC-9 PCC

At Shot Show 2024, LWRCI officially announced their latest addition to their fledgling pistol caliber lineup with the IC-9. The IC-9 is an PCC that seeks to challenge and redefine what we can expect from the 9mm carbine. LWRC built the IC-9 around the highly regarded and venerable ambidextrous LWRC IC platform.
LWRC engineer and design team built the IC-9 from the ground up around Glock pattern magazines. The new PCC boasts the same ambidextrous controls and high-performance capabilities that are found in LWRCI’s renowned gas-piston AR-15s. By doing so the IC-9 maintains exceptional build quality and reliability that LWRC products are known for.
The IC-9 features a proprietary operating system named the chamber ring delayed blowback system. This unique system works in conjunction with a hydraulic buffer, which results in a smooth shooting experience with very low recoil impulse for the shooter. The lighter recoil experience will allow shooters to shoot in comfort and with precision.
The LWRC IC-9 offers end users exceptional versatility and will be fully ambidextrous accommodating both left and right shooters with ease and a known manual or arms. The IC-9 will available in three different models. The three models are a 16” inch barrel and two compact versions feature a 8.5” inch barrel on both the pistol version and the SBR version.

Constructed of advanced aluminum and steel alloys, protected with hard-coat anodizing, ferritic nitrocarburization, and nickel-boron surface treatments, the IC-9’s MonoForge Upper Receiver with integrated rail-base is lighter and stronger than standard pattern uppers. Coined Forging are struck, heat-treated, and struck again for precise dimensional accuracy and superior surface finish.
