The highly anticipated PlayStation 5 Pro – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle sold out almost immediately after pre-orders went live on September 26, leaving many fans frustrated and opening the door for scalpers to list the consoles at inflated prices.
For the second year in a row Sony announces it will not be attending E3. Sony told gamesindustry.biz that it won’t be attending E3 in June. The electronic and gaming behemoth announced its absence in a statement to CNET.
Yesterday, news broke that Final Fantasy VII:Remake has been delayed from its original March 3rd release. A note from producer Yoshinori Kitase infromed fans that FFVII new release date has been set to April 10th.
Back in April of 2017, it was reported we would be getting a new Masters of The Universe movie this December. That has not come to fruition for the long gestating movie. The new He-Man movie is still currently in development at Sony. A recent article by The Hollywood Reporter, suggest the movie could be coming to the streaming giant Netflix.
Last week, Sony released details on the next PlayStation. The new PlayStation will be called the PS5, (which is a surprise to no one). The new PS5 will be out Holiday season 2020 just as the new Xbox which is codename Scarlett.
Today, at 1pm PT and 4pm ET Sony is hosting a another State of Play livestream. This is the first State of Play by Sony since May before E3 convention.
Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding will have a big presence at TGS 2019, which he hinted to at PAX East less than a month ago. Kojima Productions will be hosting two extensive gameplay demos at TGS. The first is set to take place opening day of TGS and will be a 50 minute presentation.
As, I was watching the Opening Night Live with Geoff Keighley he dropped some bombshell news in the middle of the event. After the conclusion of the Epic Store exclusive trailer he announces that Sony has bought Insomniac Games creator of the Ratchet and Clank series and widely successful Spider-Man game.
