Over the last few years, Holosun has made a conscious and consistent effort to disrupt and add value to the laser aiming and illuminator market. For so long, that market has been dominated by expensive laser aiming modules such as the L3 Harris PEQ-15, NGAL, and Steiner Optics D-BAL. Now, Holosun is proud to introduce the Integrated Rifle Infrared System, better known as IRIS.
The IRIS is a sleek and compact aiming laser module. In its compact format, the IRIS effortlessly integrates a visible green laser with an IR laser and IR illuminator for use with NVGs and other night vision devices. The IRIS uses an intuitive slider to dial in the IR illuminator between flood and spot. The new laser aiming device from Holosun features a pressure switch which toggles between visible, IR pointer, IR illuminator, and IR pointer and IR illuminator together with LED indicators for the current mode you are in. The IRIS is powered by a CR123 battery and can be activated from the aiming device or the included pressure switch.
The IRIS features a solid and robust aluminum housing with an IPX-8 waterproof certification, ensuring the IRIS can handle the toughest conditions and environments out there. The IRIS securely attaches to the rail of your rifle with an easy Picatinny attachment lockup system that you see on the PEQ-15 and NGAL. Shooters can also fine-tune their laser aiming experience with a 0.5 MOA adjustment per click and fully adjustable windage and elevation +/- 50 MOA.

The Holosun IRIS is set to shake up the aiming laser device market in a big way, providing a feature-rich and compact device at a reasonable price. The IRIS will retail for $799 MSRP when it is released, making it drastically cheaper than its military and law enforcement counterparts of the PEQ-15 and NGAL by L3 Harris.
